Yes, Pecan!

I wanted to share a quick pie recipe that’s easy as 1-2-3.  It’ll be sure to impress your guests or any holiday party host.  The best part is that you won’t slave in the kitchen all day, but will yield delicious results! Let’s get started:

What You’ll Need:
1 c. light corn syrup
3 eggs
1 c. sugar (I like to use Sugar in the Raw or brown sugar for this particular pie)
2 Tbsp. of melted unsalted butter
1 tsp. vanilla (mexican vanilla if you have it, it’s tasty & rich!)
1 1/2 c. of pecans
1 store bought pie crust (hey, we all cut corners here & there)

1) Stir corn syrup, eggs, sugar, melted butter & vanilla in a bow until thoroughly mixed.  Add pecans.
2) Pour mixture into your conveniently pre-made pie crust.
3) Put into a pre-heated oven at 350 degrees for one hour.

Voilà!  After an hour, you’re done!  The delectable, crunchy, gooey pie should bounce back when you press in the middle.  Let it cool for as long as you can stand waiting.  Serve it up with to your hungry guests (with or without whip cream) and enjoy!  This pie is one of my all time favorites.  Sharing good food with the ones you love may be the best part of the holidays.
